Step One      The software:

Download the latest OpticTracker software by clicking the button on the right              

Install the package that fits your operating system.

Run setup.exe and save your system settings.

Step 2,          Setup your OpticTracker account

Register an OpticTracker account for free: www.optictracker.com/My_Account.html

Make sure you provide the correct email address.

Step 3,          Authorize your computer

Run OpticTracker.exe with your computer connected to the internet, fill in your OpticTracker account username and password. OpticTracker will automatically authorize your computer.

Very Important Note:

DO NOT use any laser view finder along with Optic Tracker. Optic Tracker WILL keep the laser beam on target and it can blind pilots and / or damage delicate sensors. If you do so, you MAY cause serious accidents and you will be subject to prosecution.

And then, enjoy!

From now on you can run OpticTracker without the internet. Just make sure every a couple of months, you run it with the internet so that it can check for new versions and update your computer authorization.

Upgrade to paid versions

Login to “My Account”, you will find upgrade options under “My OpticTracker”. Every step up, you only pay the price difference. So feel free to upgrade one step at a time.

There is no need to re-download the software itself. But do run OpticTracker with internet at least once after you upgrade, so that OpticTracker can authorize your computer for the higher version.
